CD Review

BEYOND BLONDE - FAMOUS LAST WORDS

Rapid Spin U.K / Zroxx

This is a fine mixture of Bluesy, Southern tinged rock from an (almost) all female line-up. Vocals are handled by Lisa Firda who has a pretty good pedigree and voice to match (she has even performed a duet with Mr Tyler, so she must have some class). Tracy Hunter's former bass player Joyce Sampson proves that girlies are not just put in bands because they look good, she can cut a cool bass lick! If you can imagine a, sort of, Black Crowesy sound with a tough of Cher'ish vocals then you get a pretty good comparison. Currently touring the States, I'd love to see them in the UK as I reckon that they would impress.
